Dr Savin is an experienced UK trained General Practitioner who has a passion for all aspects of medicine and a particular interest in disease prevention.
Dr Savin trained as a doctor at the Royal Free Hospital in Hampstead, North London, qualifying in 1989. He spent 4 years in various hospital posts in East London training in General Practice working in medicine, surgery, oncology, Accident & Emergency medicine, psychiatry, paediatrics, obstetrics & gynaecology. He trained for a further year in Enfield, passed the MRCGP becoming GP in Enfield where he worked for many years and developed a strong interest in Preventive medicine.
Since 1992 he has personally performed in excess of 21,000 health assessments in 8 different private hospitals making him one of the most experienced doctors in the field. He has seen and advised clients from all walks of life including very senior business leaders, high net-worth individuals, high profile celebrities, sports men and women, presidents and international royalty.
He also worked for Nuffield Hospitals Health Screening since its conception and eventually became National Clinical Advisor to Nuffield Hospitals Health Screening for 5 years, overseeing 280 + doctors in 44 medical centres.
He has developed Health Assessment Centres in a number of major cities in the UK including Harley Street where he also worked at the London Clinic for 6 years, The Hospital of St John and St Elizabeth in St Johns Wood and The London Bridge Hospital in South London.
A very keen ‘explorer’, he has travelled extensively and has been Expedition Doctor on over a dozen expeditions to remote areas of the developing world including Nepal, India, Mongolia, the Amazon jungle and Borneo, where he even applied his medical skills to treating orphaned orangutans.
