Dr. Michelle Braude, founder of The Food Effect, www.thefoodeffect.co.uk
Born in South Africa but raised in London, Michelle qualified as a medical doctor (MBBS) at University College London (UCL), and also completed a BSc degree in Nutrition at King’s College London. She also carried out an elective period in Gastroenterology at the Whittington Hospital London. Being passionate about nutrition, soon after graduating she decided to set up her own nutrition practice, The Food Effect, in 2012. Michelle combines her knowledge in the fields of medicine and nutrition to help clients with medical conditions (such as high blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes), as well as those looking to lose weight, improve their diet, and optimise their overall health and well-being.
Michelle also runs a popular online blog www.thefoodeffect.co.uk and has just written and published a hugely popular book called The Food Effect Diet. She is regularly featured as an independent expert in The Daily Mail, The Telegraph, Hello!, Women’s Health, Marie Claire, Healthy Diet, Byrdie Beauty and LOOK magazine. Through guiding her clients, as well as via her growing public and online profiles, Michelle’s mission is to teach the world to eat well, enabling everyone to look and feel their best!
